This hasn't caught up to central Illinois yet. My costs on rebar have almost doubled in the past month. Rumors of an increase in concrete are flying as well. :(

I saved a bunch on my budget by downsizing my rainwater collection system. Just an idea.
Thanks for the tip, Dan. But we don't want to compromise the rainwater collection system, since that's our only source for water. We're no where near town hook-up. Anyway, I'm sure the price cuts will hit you at some point. Let us know if you notice anything... we also heard concrete is up, but I'm going to bargain shop some more.
